1. Introduction

Welcome to Usedwave. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://used.chariswave.com.ng/ (the “Website”), and any purchase you make through it. The Website is owned and operated by Chariswave Enterprise (“Usedwave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a business operating in Nigeria.

By accessing the Website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you (“customer,” “user,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website or purchase our products.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. About Our Products

Usedwave sells UK-used (“Grade A”) mobile phones, including iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel devices, along with related phone accessories.

Unless a product listing clearly states “brand new” or “sealed,” all phones sold on this Website are pre-owned, second-hand devices that have been inspected, tested, and graded prior to sale. “Grade A” refers to our internal quality grading and does not imply the device is new or unused.

3. Product Descriptions, Grading & Accuracy

3.1 We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe each product, including condition, battery health, storage capacity, color, and included accessories. Product images are for illustrative purposes; the actual item may vary slightly in cosmetic appearance due to the nature of used goods.

3.2 For used phones, stated battery health percentages (e.g., “90%+”) reflect the condition at the time of testing and may naturally decline with continued use over time, which is normal battery wear and not a defect.

3.3 We do not guarantee that every product description is free of error. If you discover a significant inaccuracy between the listing and the item received, contact us within the timeframe set out in our Return & Refund Policy (Section 8).

3.4 Colors, screen displays, and images may appear slightly different depending on your device’s display settings.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 All prices displayed on the Website are in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout.

4.2 We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the Website, including after an order has been placed. If a pricing error is identified after you have paid, we will notify you and give you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4.3 Accepted payment methods will be indicated at checkout (which may include bank transfer, card payment, or other methods we make available from time to time). You are responsible for ensuring payment details provided are accurate.

4.4 Orders are only confirmed and processed once payment has been successfully received and verified.

4.5 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, unavailability of stock, or issues with payment verification. Where an order is cancelled after payment, we will issue a full refund.

5. Orders & Order Acceptance

5.1 Placing an order through the Website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, an error appears on the listing, or fraud is suspected.

5.2 You will typically receive an order confirmation via email, SMS, or WhatsApp once your order is placed. This confirms receipt of your order but does not guarantee availability until payment and stock are verified.

5.3 You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information (name, phone number, delivery address). We are not liable for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect information provided by you.

6. Delivery

6.1 We offer free nationwide home delivery within Nigeria, with tracking provided where applicable. Estimated delivery timeframes will be communicated at checkout or via our customer service channels; these are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates.

6.2 Delivery times may vary depending on your location, courier availability, and other circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, courier delays, incorrect address information).

6.3 Risk in the product passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. Please inspect your item(s) at the point of delivery where possible.

6.4 If you are unavailable to receive delivery, our courier partner may attempt redelivery or require you to arrange pickup; additional charges may apply for repeated failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability.

7. Warranty

7.1 Used phones sold on the Website come with a limited warranty of 30 days from the date of delivery, unless a different period is specified on the individual product listing or communicated to you at the time of purchase.

7.2 Our warranty covers manufacturing and functional defects that are not the result of misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized repair, water damage, or normal wear and tear.

7.3 The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical or liquid damage occurring after delivery;
  • Damage from unauthorized repair, software tampering, or use of unofficial chargers/accessories;
  • Cosmetic wear consistent with normal use of a pre-owned device;
  • Natural battery degradation over time.

7.4 To make a warranty claim, contact us via the details in Section 14 with your order details and a description of the issue. We may require the item to be returned for inspection before a repair, replacement, or resolution is provided.

8. Returns & Refunds

8.1 If you receive a product that is significantly not as described, defective on arrival, or damaged in transit, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos/video evidence and your order number, and may return the item within that same 7-day window.

8.2 To be eligible for return, the item must be in the condition it was received, with all original accessories, packaging, and proof of purchase.

8.3 Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method or as store credit, within a reasonable timeframe, less any applicable delivery charges where relevant.

8.4 We reserve the right to decline a return or refund where the reported issue is not verified, where damage appears to result from misuse after delivery, or where the claim is made outside the applicable timeframe.

9. Account Registration

9.1 You may need to create an account to place an order. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials confidential.

9.2 You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

9.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or are used for fraudulent activity.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chariswave Enterprise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

12.2 Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

12.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Nigerian law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

12.4 We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier delays, natural disasters, strikes, or network/internet outages.
